Bucks Quarter Friends at May Quarterly Meeting

Bucks Quarter Friends gathered at the historic Buckingham Friends Meeting on May 18th to share in worship, fellowship and business.

Buckingham Friends went all out to make everyone in the Quarter feel welcome. We were greeted by a colorful banner and Friends offering early morning refreshments. At 10 am we settled into worship which was warm and gathered.

At 11 am we were treated to a program by members of the PYM Eco Justice Collaborative about climate justice. The program was recorded and can be viewed below. Download the Creating a Playbook for Climate Action here; download the handouts provided here.

Paul Lindenmaier, Head of School at Buckingham Friends School (BFS) welcomed us to lunch in their newly constructed space at the school which shares the campus with the meetinghouse.

Business included reports from monthly meetings, approval of the budget for the next fiscal year, and reports from the Coordinator and the Committee of Oversight.

Friends will gather next in August at Doylestown Friends Meeting.
