For anyone interested in planting native plants to support our earth’s ecosystem, this film from Homegrown National Park and The Caterpillar Lab will fascinate and inspire. The film is 60 minutes long and would be of interest to adults and children ten and up. You can watch the trailer here.
This event is free and open to the public but donations are welcome.
Following the film, Robin Hoy will briefly describe how she and her husband, Mike, are creating the Seven Springs Center for Earthkeepers, a diverse and thriving native species haven on ten acres where the community can come learn and connect with nature. With woodlands, a rain garden, stream restoration, meadow, and more than 95 species of native trees, shrubs, flowers, grasses, and permaculture fruits and vegetables, it’s a great opportunity to get ideas for your own Homegrown National Park!
At 6:00 pm there will be a picnic potluck at Seven Springs Center for Earthkeepers, followed at 7:00 pm with a summer evening tour of the Seven Springs Center for Earthkeepers, located a two-minute drive down Worthington Mill Road from Wrightstown Friends Meeting.
