Peacekeeper / Marshall Training for Protests

  • Newtown Friends Meeting 219 Court Street Newtown, PA United States (map)

Protests are taking place at an increased pace across our nation, as this has become a way to speak out. Join us for this experiential training to learn how to keep the peace and ensure the safety of others during protests or town hall meetings. The trainers will cover de-escalation techniques, communication strategies, crowd management and issues that can unexpectedly arise. We will help to equip you with the skills needed to be an effective peacekeeper/marshall.

This workshop will be co-facilitated by Barbara Simmons, Newtown Meeting, and John Magee, Southampton Meeting. Both have extensive experience in this area.

This event is free and open to the public. Click here to register.
