The Friends of Bolton Mansion is hosting Norman E. Donoghue's presentation on his book Prisoners of Congress: Philadelphia Quakers in Exile, 1777-1778 in the Social Hall of the Meetinghouse on April 21, 2026. We invite all to arrive early at 5:30 pm to see our displays and books will be for sale. The talk and slide presentation will start promptly at 6 pm.
Norman has done extensive research on the Quaker experience during the American Revolution and his book chronicles an untold story of Quaker men who were exiled.
The Friends of Bolton Mansion are suggesting a donation of $10.00 to help support the maintenance and restoration of the mansion.
The preservation of Bolton Mansion ensures that Quaker history will be told for generations to come.
