You’re Invited… Join us for some fun at "58 Paintings - Art Show Party w/Live Music!" at Fallsington Friends Meeting, happening Friday night, October 2nd from 6:00pm - 9:00pm, continuing Saturday afternoon, October 3rd 2:00pm - 5:00pm.
We’ll celebrate very reasonably priced Art (most under $100) with fellowship, snacks, and some live music! The art show sale will feature original fine art paintings and art created by Jan Duckett, a Bucks County artist painting since 1958 at her home studio at 58 Trail Road.
Guess what? 58 is Jan’s lucky number. This is a tribute to honor Mom and her art and donate some proceeds to a local not-for-profit cause Jan will choose (likely to benefit children since she’s a retired elementary and pre-school teacher). Jan is hoping to attend.
The “58 Paintings” are a variety of one-of-a-kind original paintings: 41 framed Oil Paintings and 17 framed watercolor paintings, and also some framed Counted Cross Stitch, a few drawings, small works and watercolor paintings suitable for framing. Including the art that is not framed, there are 117 pieces. There are many familiar Bucks County scenes like Yardley, which make nice gifts. The subject matter ranges from Landscapes to Still Lifes to Florals to Fantasy. The largest paintings are in 16”x20” frames, but most works are smaller, that is, medium to small in size.
