The coolest thing since Camp George is happening on May 19th and May 20th. Most of you are asking, "What's Camp George?" Camp George was when Bucks Quarterly Meeting would gather for a weekend at George School for fun (lots of fun), fellowship, worship, and quarterly business.
Camp George, meet Camp Onas! On May 19th and 20th, Friends from all the meetings in Bucks Quarter (you) are invited to gather together for activities, relaxing together, and worship.
The board of directors for Camp Onas are providing a super cool overnight beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 19th, through breakfast on the 20th. After breakfast, Solebury Friends will be hosting Quarterly Meeting at Onas with a great program for all ages with singer songwriter and member of Fallsington Meeting, Jonathan Sprout (
Where can you go for $10 as an individual or $30 as a family unit and get games, camp fire, canoeing, sleep over, and more? Nowhere. Bring a friend or two along.
The options are almost endless ... you can come for the day on Saturday, you can stay overnight, you can come for the day on Sunday, or you can join for the whole experience (there is no fee for people who only come for the day on Sunday).
Just like Camp Onas is low tech (which is just one of many reasons that it's so great), so is the registration process for the overnight. You simply need to email Jess Walcott at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), and she will walk you through the process. She will also be happy to answer questions you may have and help you determine the best way to participate in this not-to-be-missed event.
