Young Friends Camp Out at Tohickon Park
Limited to 26 Young Friends, the PYM campout at Tohickon Valley Park in Point Pleasant, PA, is on May 21-23, beginning at 5 PM Friday. The campout includes hiking, playing games, singing by the fire, and more. Cost is $30. For information call Cookie Caldwell at 241-7222.

War on Drugs Program at Solebury Meeting
On Sunday, May 23rd, Ray Bentman of PYM's Drug Concerns Working Group will lead a discussion on drugs & exploring ways in which Friends work towards finding peaceful solutions to the War on Drugs. Ideas include education, research into causes of drug addiction, and political alliances to change government policy. Worship is at 10 AM, program following immediately afterwards.

United Friends School Spring Auction
"Around the World in 80 Days" is the theme for this year's United Friends School Auction on Saturday, May 1st, at the Perkasie Fire Hall on 5th Street in Perkasie. There will be a cash bar and scrumptious hors d'oeuvres. The Faith & Practice music ensemble will be on hand with their great repertoire of songs. The live auction will follow. Doors open at 6 PM. Admission charge of $10 with $5 purchase rebate. Call 538-1733 or 215-538-0468.

Fiddler On the Roof at George School
George School music department students will perform the well-known musical, Fiddler On the Roof on Friday & Saturday, May 7th & 8th, at 8 PM, in Walton Auditorium on the George School campus. Admission is free.

Michael Wajda at Wrightstown Meeting
Wrightstown Meeting invites Friends in the Quarter to hear Michael Wajda speak on Sunday, May 2nd. Meeting for Worship begins at 10 AM, followed by "meet and eat" - a covered dish luncheon. Michael Wajda will speak at the luncheon. Information: call Paul Zorn at 598-7480.

Arch Street Meetinghouse Requests
Helen File and Sandy Sudofsky of Arch Street Meetinghouse are appealing for volunteer guides at the meeting house. They are particularly busy at this time of year. Some 34,000 visitors visit annually. Scheduling is flexible.

Quakers and the American Indian exhibit will be on from October thru May. The loan of your Indian artifacts will be appreciated. Call 627-2667 for both requests.

Middletown Meeting's Flea Market
This flea market on Saturday, May 1st, is to help raise funds for the Children's Friendship Project for Northern Ireland. Friends are invited to rent a table for $20 and sell their wares, keeping the proceeds (bring your own chair). Donations of goods for sale are also welcome, including things like used books, puzzles, videos, household items, etc. There will be a bake sale, entertainment, and lemonade stand. The flea market begins at 7 AM and ends at 1 PM, approximately. Come early to set up. For information call Kate Daly at 757-3303.

Teen Night at Wrightstown
The next Teen Night at Wrightstown will be on Saturday, May 15th, at 7:30 PM. Laurel and George Mueller will teach swing-dancing - bring your dancing shoes! And $2.00! There will also be games, video, time for chat. Parent pick-up is 10:00 PM.

BQM Worship & Ministry Meeting
Friends in the Quarter are invited to the Worship & Ministry committee meeting at Bristol Meeting, on Friday, May 14th, at 6 PM. Bring a dish to share. The program will follow.

Trenton Thunder Baseball Game
It's that time of year! Friends in the Quarter will again go to to see the Trenton Thunder baseball game on Sunday, June 13th, at 1:05 PM. The gates open at 12 noon. Cost of tickets is $8.00.

There is a Friend in each Meeting who is signing up those who want to go to the baseball game. Check at your Meeting for that person and sign up. Wally Evans has ordered 300 tickets for us. He must send in the final count by May 4th. Get on board NOW!

12 noon Children meet with families for lunch.
1:30-3 PM Eight years & younger stay at meeting house. Nine years & up hike in park.
