Bucks Quarter Peace & Service Committee Lays Itself Down

"On December 7, 1998, the Bucks Quarterly Meeting Peace and Service Committee was laid down by the attending members. At such time as the Monthly Meetings in the Quarter determine a clear sense of purpose for the committee, it may be reconvened. The committee urges that the Bucks Quarterly Meeting of Friends, through its coordinator, actively encourage every Monthly Meeting to form a peace committee in order to respond directly to the concerns of its membership and make an ongoing commitment to the peace testimony of the Religious Society of Friends"--From the BQM Peace and Service Committee
