UpdatesUpdatesThis trip includes staying at the Washington, D.C. Youth Hostel. We will visit the Holocaust Museum, the Vietnam War Memorial, Florida Avenue Meeting, and other sights. We will cook our own meals at the Youth Hostel.
Other friends on this trip will include George School students and members of BSA Troop 145 of Richboro, PA (their scoutmaster is a member of Wrightstown Meeting).
We will depart, by bus, from the George School parking lot near the meetinghouse at 7:00 AM! Please be prompt. Eat breakfast at home or plan to bring it with you. You will also need a brown bag lunch. We will prepare other meals at the Youth Hostel. Bring your sleeping bag. Our visit to the Holocaust Museum is scheduled for Saturday afternoon. Visits to other sites will be scheduled around that time. Our return to the George School parking lot is Sunday afternoon about 6 o’clock.
The cost for the trip is $60. You may want to bring extra money to purchase souvenirs. There is Quarterly Meeting scholarship money available. In addition, your Monthly Meeting may be able to help.
