for the many Liberians living and working in Bucks County. On
Sunday, September 8th, at 7:00 PM. Friends are invited to join

neighbors that we are aware of their pain and pray that the wounds
of their nation will soon be healed.
- Bucks Quarter Family Whale Watch
- Here we go a-whaling! Friends of all ages are invited to the
Whale Watch off Cape May. It's a beautiful time of year to enjoy
the wild life and ocean breezes at the shore, see the beautiful
town of Cape May, and stop at the fish market on your way home.
We will meet at the marina at 12:30 PM sharp. Cost is $19 for
adults and $10 for children under 12. Check for flyers with registration
and directions to the marina at your meetinghouse. For more information
or flyers, call the coordinator at 860-9747.
- Bucks Quarter Singing Group
- Though it's summer and Friends are scattered, the singing

for fun, join in and let your voice be heard! The next meeting
is on September 25th, at 7:30 PM, at Makefield meetinghouse.
- Quaker Panels at Falls Meeting Need Help
- In storage at Falls Meeting are three large 20-year old panels
depicting: a map of Bucks Quarter with pictures of the meetinghouses,
an early history of Quakers, and a panel depicting Friends today

to be useful as an outreach tool for events in the Quarter. If
you are interested, please call Sandy at 860-9747.

- Correction:
- Midweek Meeting for Worship at Makefield begins at 7:00 PM.
- Appreciation Meeting for Worship
for Friends and Community at Yardley
- Yardley Meeting is very appreciative of the support of Quaker
Friends and Yardley community friends who helped with the clean-up
at Yardley meetinghouse and grounds after the Great Flood of June
12th. As you know, some three inches of mud were removed from
the meetinghouse before the time-consuming and back-breaking work
could begin. Friends from throughout the Quarter, and especially
those who put in the many hours of labor to get the meetinghouse
ready for worship on the following First Day, are invited to a
special appreciation Meeting for Worship. At 9:00 AM there will
be a discussion of Friends and Education, led by Bonnie Benbow,
followed by the appreciation Meeting for Worship at 10:00 AM.
Friends and community are invited to stay for
brunch at 11:15 AM.
